What Gantrium does with your information, in plain English.
This is a draft, last updated October 2, 2026. It is still being reviewed, and it will change before Gantrium opens to more shops.
Who this covers
Three kinds of people: visitors to this site, owners who build an app with Gus, and the people an owner invites to use that app.
On this site
- Your email, if you leave it. It is sent to our team as an email through Resend, our mail service, with the page you were on and the trade you picked if you picked one, so a person can write back. The address lives in that email and nowhere else on this site. So the same address is not sent twice in an hour, the form holds a scrambled fingerprint of it, and one of your internet address, in the server's memory and never on disk. It clears them after an hour, or as soon as the server next wakes if it was asleep, and a restart clears them sooner. Resend holds the address fingerprint for a day for the same reason.
- Your phone number, if you type it into the call form. It is checked and held in memory for a short while to stop repeat requests. Only its last four digits are written to our logs. No calls are being placed yet while Gantrium is in early access.
- The demo. What you type there stays in your browser and in the page address. We do not save it.
- Tap to talk. On this site your browser turns your voice into text with its own speech recognition. Depending on the browser, that can send audio to the company that makes it. We never receive the audio.
- Signing in. Sign in is handled by Clerk, which uses cookies to keep you signed in.
- Tracking. No ad trackers and no analytics run on this site today. Our host, Vercel, sees what any web host sees: your internet address and your browser.
When you build an app
- Your app's data lives in your app's own database, apart from every other shop's.
- What you say to Gus is kept as your app's history: what you asked for, what he asked back, what he showed you, what you kept and what you put back. Gus uses it to remember your shop, and you can look back through it.
- People at Gantrium can see your app, its data and its history, to fix it and to support you.
- Gus runs on AI models from Anthropic. What you tell him is sent to the model to get his answer.
- We keep a second record of how the system itself did: how a request was handled, how a build was graded, what it cost. We use it to make Gus better. It is looked at in aggregate, with shop identities taken out.
- A copy of your data is saved before every go live, and daily backups are kept.
Who else handles it
Gantrium runs on services from other companies. As designed, they are Vercel (hosting), Convex (each app's database), Clerk (sign in), Mastra (where Gus runs and keeps his memory), Anthropic (the AI models), ElevenLabs (voice to text), Resend (email) and GitHub (each app's code). Each one handles what it needs to do its job.
Your rights as an owner
- Nothing goes live until you say so.
- You can have a change put back. Your app and its data can be restored to an earlier go live, inside a window of your last ten go lives or thirty days, whichever is longer.
- Your app's history belongs with your app. If your app ever leaves Gantrium, that history goes with it.
- Getting your data out: there is no export button in the app yet. Until there is, ask us and a person on our team will get it to you.
- Deleting it: ask us to delete your app and its data, and we will.
- We do not sell your information, and we do not sell your customers' information.
If you use an app a shop built
The shop that owns the app decides what it collects from you and why. Ask them first. Gantrium acts on the owner's instructions.
Your privacy choices
There are no ad trackers here and nothing is sold, so there is no opt out switch to offer today.
If you left your email and want it removed, or you want to use any of the rights above, leave your email at the bottom of this page and tell the person who writes back.
Questions about any of this? Leave your email and a real person on our team will reach out.
